UMMC Pricing
Understanding health care costs can be a daunting task. With so many factors affecting insurance payments, it may be difficult to tell what your final out-of-pocket expenses will be.
To help, UMMC offers an online calculator that provides an estimate personalized to the health services you may receive and your specific insurance coverage.
Creating a custom estimate
For patients with a UMMC MyChart account, the estimate calculator uses insurance information in your record to calculate your estimated costs. If you do not have a UMMC MyChart account, you can still create a custom estimate as a guest. You will manually enter all your specific insurance information into the calculator. The estimate will only be as accurate as the information you enter.
Combined with the specific details you enter about health care service you may receive, the calculator will produce a custom estimate of your likely expenses. It is only an estimate, so understand your final charges may vary. For example, at the time you receive treatment, it may become apparent that additional services are necessary for your care. Also, note this estimate covers only services at UMMC; your physicians’ fees may be billed separately.
