A few years ago, plans for a new cancer center weren’t even on a drawing board yet. Now, in less than a couple of months, we’ll be breaking ground on what will become a world-class center for cancer care and research.
Chhatre’s expertise in outcomes research, preference‑based decision‑making and complex data analytics will strengthen CCRI’s research enterprise and support ongoing progress toward NCI designation.
His deep expertise in patient-centered decision-making, preference assessment and comparative effectiveness research will directly support CCRI’s mission and ongoing progress toward National Cancer Institute designation.
The funding will be used to support the renovation and equipping of approximately 14,000 square feet of space in the UMMC Research Wing.
