Our Research Clinic

Located on the campus of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, The Gertrude C. Ford MIND Research Center occupies 15,000 square feet on the first floor of the Translational Research Center. The MIND Center’s research operations, research clinic, and administrative spaces are centralized in this modern and architecturally distinctive building.

The Gertrude C. Ford MIND Research Clinic was specifically designed with an older adult population in mind. The clinic combines pleasing aesthetics with the latest in design principles proven to help older adults successfully navigate a clinical setting.

Wall colors support patient orientation, focused lighting ensures patient areas are well lit, and guardrails protect against falls during movement from one research room to another. Everything from the chairs in the waiting room to the custom exam tables helps our research participants transition through this space easily and comfortably.

Convenient parking for research participants is located in front of the Translational Research Center or in Garage A directly across the street.
