Who Can Participate

The Study of Aging is currently recruiting people who meet the following criteria:

• Live in Mississippi
• Aged 30 or older
• Willing to come to the Gertrude C. Ford MIND Research Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi for evaluations approximately every 15-24 months

Study participants may play a key role in allowing us to:

• Explore the factors that contribute to brain aging and dementia
• Identify better methods to diagnose and prevent Alzheimer’s disease
• Better understand synergies between the brain and how the body functions, such as gait and balance, and how to protect those abilities as we age
