The operator is not responsible for preparing samples, figures for presentation and publications. The Kaluza v1.2 and FlowJo v10 software are available at a separate workstation in G565, and can be used free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

User fees are reviewed annually and subject to changes.

Scheduling and cancellation

It is necessary to make your appointment at least one day in advance for the FACSymphony analyzer and three days in advance for the FACSAria Fusion sorter. Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. Users are charged from the beginning of their reservation time. For the FACSAria Fusion, users are charged a minimum of one hour for instrument set up and alignment in addition to their actual sorting time.

In order to prevent scheduling conflicts and maximize the use of the instruments we require cancellation notification 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If we do not receive 24-hour cancellation notification for the FACSymphony analyzer and/or the FACSAria Fusion sorter, the full time of the appointment will be charged.

Hours of operation

  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, excluding UMMC holidays.
Individuals trained and certified on the FACSymphony analyzer can, upon agreement, use the analyzer after hours.
