The sponsor of a non-employee is accountable with ensuring that the non-employee remains in compliance with all applicable UMMC policies and requirements. Non-employees may be authorized for activities on UMMC campus for a maximum period of 1 (one) year (note: educational observers may not engage with UMMC for longer than 3 months). After the approved engagement period has ended, the sponsor and non-employee must submit a new NEPAR for the next engagement period.
The sponsor should track the anticipated end date to ensure that renewals are requested timely to avoid interruptions in system access.
