Our mission – To develop nursing leaders and improve health within and beyond Mississippi through excellence in education, research, practice and service - guides our actions as the School of Nursing at Mississippi's only academic health science center.

Regardless of the program you choose, you will find our School of Nursing excels in providing an interdisciplinary educational environment. Our focus – on education, practice, research and service – helps us provide unique and rich experiences. Our faculty – recognized experts, partnered with our staff – are dedicated to support student success and to prepare students to lead nursing practice in a constantly changing and challenging health-care field.
