Front and Center: Dr. Allison Strickland
Dr. Allison Strickland has run in several recreational races all over the country, but next month, she takes on every runner’s dream of participating in the Boston Marathon. Strickland, assistant professor and neurosurgeon, is running in the marathon to raise money for IMPACT Melanoma, a non-profit organization aimed at reducing a disease she often treats patients for.

Care for spina bifida patients close to home at Children’s of Mississippi
An array of Children’s of Mississippi experts is caring for children born with spina bifida through a new multidisciplinary clinic at the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi. Led by clinic director Dr. Kristin Weaver, the clinic provides care for conditions related to spina bifida.
