Impact of DNPs in Mississippi

The Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (MECDNP) is comprised of five universities that offer the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree to prepare advanced-practice nurses at the highest level. The five schools including Alcorn State University, Delta State University, Mississippi University for Women, University of Mississippi Medical Center and University of Southern Mississippi created the partnership to provide opportunities for networking, scholarship and review of curricula and other program issues.
