Main ContentAbout Population Health Science
In April 2016, the Department of Population Health Science was instituted under the John D. Bower School of Population Health to educate future researchers and clinicians in the science of population health. The goal of the degree programs in the Department of Population Health Science is to train future population health scientists that have in-depth health domain knowledge, outstanding methodological rigor, and interdisciplinary expertise to address the full range of factors that influence health and disease, and to equip clinicians and healthcare administrators with the skills to deliver population-oriented care.
