How to Apply
Application procedures
Prerequisites
: Applicants must have completed or be scheduled to complete an ACGME-accredited residency in pediatrics. Applicants must be board certified/board eligible in general pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics by July of the year they would begin fellowship.
Foreign trained applicants
: Foreign trained applicants must hold or convert to a J1 visa.
Application submission
: Applications and supporting documents should be submitted through
ERAS
. Applications are accepted until Nov. 1.
Match
: We participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Applicants register with the
NRMP
directly. We accept up to two fellows per academic year (total of four fellowship spots divided between three PGY years)

Personal statement
Letters of recommendation (LOR): Three LORs are required; a maximum of four will be accepted. One LOR must be submitted by the applicant's residency program director or department chair. The other letters may come from any physicians the applicant chooses. LORs are to be submitted via the
ERAS Letter of Recommendation Portal

Medical school dean's letter
Copies of USMLE or COMLEX scores
Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate (if applicable)
Copy of immigration visa (if applicable)
