Welcome to the Office of Information Security and Privacy.

We partner closely with the Office of Integrity and Compliance to implement and enforce the Institutional Compliance Plan. In addition, our office collaborates with each unit within UMMC's three missions of education, research and health care to ensure the appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of patient, student and employee information and institutional intellectual property.
