Prerequisites for the Traditional BSN, Accelerated BSN, RN-BSN and RN-MSN programs.
The lower division is comprised of the following courses, which are prerequisites for the upper division of the baccalaureate program. Prerequisites must be taken at an accredited institution. ** Two science prerequisites must be completed with a minimum of grade C posted prior to the program application deadline. In addition to the prerequisite courses listed below, Accelerated BSN applicants must have an additional 14 hours of academic electives. ** Science survey courses or courses for non-science majors are not acceptable for transfer credit. Anatomy and Physiology courses taken more than 10 years ago may not be accepted for transfer credit. The 62 credit hours of prerequisite courses include:
Natural Science and Mathematics Requirements - 18 credit hoursMicrobiology with lab - (4 credit hours) |

Statistics - (3 credit hours) Must include an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics, including measures of central tendency, variability, correlation, t tests, z tests, ANOVA, chi-square, hypothesis testing, p levels and confidence intervals. |
