The newsletter committee would like to introduce ourselves. In short, we are a group of dedicated Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior faculty and employees who love telling the story of our amazing department.

- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- I am really proud of the impact that mental health care the department provides has on the community and state.
- Fun Fact:
- I have been on a volcano while it was erupting.
- Favorite Animal:
- Bears (all of 'em)
Cameron Kenney
- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- The people and the mission!
- Fun Fact:
- I've traveled from the Pacific to the Atlantic by bicycle.

- Scout (my dog)
Carson Lane Allen
- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- I really appreciate the collaboration and specialization where people bring their unique skills and experiences which enriches the education, research, and health care that we deliver.
- Fun Fact:
- I've never been to Boston in the fall.
- Favorite Animal:
- My 3 dogs (Beckett, Koa, & Cooper). But if I had to chose one, Beckett.
Joshua Trull, D.O.
- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- Having the opportunity to teach and encourage residents and medical students.
- Fun Fact:
- I sang bass in my medical school's a capella group, The SOAP Notes.

- Great eared nightjar

- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- I am proud of how the Psychiatry Department are committed to quality and service for their employees. This department displays genuine efforts in embracing new ideas and incorporating various skill sets.

Mary Galicki
- Favorite Part About Working at UMMC:
- Working within an institution that helps the state's most vulnerable patients and within a department that facilitates the destigmatization of mental health issues.

- Fun Fact:
- My family and I were "attacked" by monkeys while leaving a wildlife reserve in Mexico. They followed us to our car, climbed on my then 2-year-old brother's head, and stole his sippy cup. As we tried to get in our car, one of the monkeys hopped in and ransacked a snack bag, escaping with younger brother's bottled orange juice and a snack. Seemingly satisfied, he fled with said snacks up a tree. 10/10, would return!
