Center for the Advancement of Youth (CAY)

The Center for Advancement of Youth (CAY) offers comprehensive, coordinated care across disciplines for children with behavioral or developmental issues throughout Mississippi. Founded in 2011, CAY combines telehealth technology, multidisciplinary health expertise, and the support of statewide agencies to the advantage of young patients and their families. Its mission is to provide resources to fully support children and their families and provide the care they deserve. The center’s goal is to ensure that no child or youth suffers from lack of access to appropriate behavioral or developmental care and treatment. CAY is a referral-based clinic which means that a referral is needed from a patient’s primary care provider (Pediatrician or other medical provider) before the first appointment is scheduled. If you have any questions about CAY or about our referral process, call us at (601) 984-5236.

CAY facilitates grant-funded research projects in order to provide fully integrated, evidence based care. Through these grant-funded projects CAY is able to implement cutting-edge technology in order to provide the highest quality care for the children and families of Mississippi.

CAY provides education and training opportunities for the next generation of pediatric health professionals. CAY incorporates a unique multi-disciplinary approach that provides a comprehensive practical learning environment.
