Portrait of Meredith AldridgeMeredith Aldridge is the executive director of the Office of Development and Alumni Engagement for the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Joining UMMC in 2018 to assist with the $100 million capital campaign to build the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi, Aldridge manages fundraising and alumni engagement teams to support the Medical Center’s mission areas.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Aldridge received a bachelor of arts from Mississippi State University and a juris doctorate at Samford University. She practiced law for more than a decade at the Mississippi Attorney General’s office and in private practice.

She is actively involved in the community, having served as the president of the Junior League of Jackson and as a board member for several organizations, including the Fondren Renaissance Foundation, Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Foundation, and Jackson Preparatory School. She also serves as a commissioner for the Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service. In 2019, she was a finalist for the Mississippi Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year.

She and husband Ben Aldridge have two children, Ann Carlton and Pate. They are active members of St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson.
