Department of Human Resources

The Department of Human Resources serves as both the employee advocate and the institutional shepherd, facilitating our goal of becoming an “employer of choice” through the development and delivery of cost effective, market driven, value added operational & programmatic initiatives supporting employee benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, on-boarding, management counsel and guidance, employee relations/HR compliance, development and learning, international HR services, and succession management.


The Human Resources Department strives to create and sustain a fully integrated Human Resources organization while serving the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s employees and students. The Department of Human Resources aspires to serve as a catalyst for change for our campus and hope to be recognized as best-in-class in our profession by all whom we serve. We endeavor to provide unparalleled service in the areas of HR services, employee relations, benefits and compensation, talent acquisition, organizational development and international services.
