Overview
UMMC Greenwood, formerly Greenwood Leflore Hospital, has been serving Greenwood and its surrounding communities for more than 100 years. Originally established in 1906 by the King's Daughters Society with help from the City of Greenwood and Leflore County, it joined the UMMC health system in 2026.
Backed by the full resources of the state's only academic medical center, our care includes a Level 4 trauma center, certified laboratory services, accredited radiology imaging and medical care for every age and stage of life.
The only medical center in Leflore County, we are located at 1401 River Road, Greenwood, MS 38930-4030.
