Inpatient care
The Complex Care Clinic also cares for children admitted to the hospital. Our inpatient care is guided by pediatric hospitalists (physicians who specialize in caring for hospitalized children). Our nurse practitioners see patients in the hospital and at the clinic, providing continuous care after discharge.
Palliative care
Palliative care seeks to make a particularly stressful illness or injury easier to cope with. It is typically recommended for patients undergoing difficult medical treatments or facing a terminal illness. We provide consultation and coordinate medical and/or counseling services to help manage physical and emotional distress for patients and their families.
Long Term Care
The Children's of Mississippi Alyce G. Clarke Center for Medically Fragile Children is a 20-bed pediatric skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing compassionate, long-term care for children with complex medical needs. Serving children at least 1 month old to less than age 19, we specialize in caring for children who require long-term skilled nursing and medical support.
