Orthopaedic Congenital Disorders

A congenital disorder is a medical condition present at birth. The World Health Organization estimates that congenital disorders affect about one in every 33 babies each year. The severity of symptoms varies, depending on the disorder. Some complications develop as the child ages, while others impact the growing fetus and require immediate attention upon birth or even before.
