First Year of Vascular Surgery Fellowship
The first year of the vascular surgery fellowship program is primarily spent learning basic endovascular skills. Our fellows progress towards more complex aortic endovascular planning with interventions and limb salvage endovascular interventions for patients not otherwise suitable for open extremity bypasses.
In addition, the trainee will be instructed on non-invasive vascular imaging for the purpose of completing the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) test, the compulsory test for completing the Vascular Surgery Certifying Examination.
Basic science research as well as clinical research opportunities are available based on the fellow’s interest in developing an academic curriculum.
