Why did you choose UMMC?: As a former medical student at UMMC, I was already familiar with many of the strengths of the program such as the integration with the categorical programs and the highly reputable Med/Peds continuity clinic. Ultimately, the quality of the faculty and residents led me to choose UMMC Med/Peds. The people are certainly what gives the program its great reputation and this is certainly a group that I’m proud to be a part of.

What you like to do in free time?
I enjoy tennis, woodworking, biking, playing guitar, indulging in good food, watching movies (even if I’ve seen them several times), sailing, and just about anything that involves getting outside. Most important to me is the time I spend with my wife, Abbey, and our families. We try to take every opportunity to visit home or go on vacations.
