Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
The Division of Hematology and Oncology's accredited fellowship program offers three fellowship positions each year for the three-year training program.
Applicants must have satisfactorily completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine and have been declared eligible for the examination leading to certification. In addition, each candidate must satisfy all criteria established by UMMC for such programs, including an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Mississippi.
Training in the fellowship program results in board eligibility for both subspecialty exams administered by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
