In the January newsletter, we published the article "The Changing Landscape of Residency Applications" to acknowledge the new processes and systems which are currently in place and impact the residency application process. In addition to those new processes and systems, the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) has recently announced that this year's match was the largest in its history with a total of 52,498 applicants with 47,208 who submitted a certified rank order list. DABE Research Day

Upcoming SOM Faculty Development Sessions

The School of Medicine and the Department of Advanced Medical Education have collaborated again this year to develop the 2025 School of Medicine (SOM) Annual Faculty Development Series. This series provides one-hour sessions throughout the year on topics that aim to enhance teaching and learning and the academic environment. The virtual sessions are held at noon and highlight the expertise and research of SOM faculty as well as faculty from other institutions.
