The school offers baccalaureate programs in Health Systems Administration, Health Informatics and Information Management, Histotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science and Radiologic Sciences. Certificate programs are available in Medical Scribe Specialist, Health Informatics (post-baccalaureate), and Leadership and Management (post-baccalaureate). SHRP also offers master's programs in Health Informatics and Information Management, Health Systems Administration, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Technology, as well as doctoral programs in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Health Administration.

Welcome to the School of Health Related Professions (SHRP) at UMMC. SHRP features state-of-the-art classrooms and is one of the finest facilities in the country for health-related professions. The SHRP building houses therapy skills labs, clinical labs, a radiologic simulation laboratory and the Collaboratory, an active learning classroom. We welcome all students around the state to consider our programs. With the addition of online and advanced standing programs, we have made it easier for place-bound students to further their education at SHRP without leaving their hometowns.
Interested in pursuing a degree in a health related profession? SHRP offers five entry-level bachelor's degree programs for students to choose from. The school also offers advanced standing and progression programs for students who have graduated from a community college allied health program and have earned a health care credential.
Interested in furthering your education in health care? SHRP offers four master's programs: Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Health Informatics and Information Management, Health Systems Administration, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. Two of the programs, Master of Health Informatics and Information Management and Master of Health Systems Administration, are offered online, making it convenient for working health care professionals to further their education.
SHRP offers three doctoral programs that include the Doctor of Health Administration, Doctor of Occupational Therapy, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. The Doctor of Health Administration program is offered online. SHRP also offers four residency programs for qualified applicants.
