Biography: Dr. Rushing is a general pediatric cardiologist with special interest in fetal cardiology at the University of Mississippi. He was born and raised in Brookhaven, MS with seven siblings and a physician father. He completed medical school at UMMC and post graduate training in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology at UTHSC LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. He provides care in all areas of general and fetal cardiology. He sees consults regarding congenital heart conditions, chest pain, heart murmurs, dysautonomia, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. He also provides care in the fetal cardiology program. He is humbled to be home and to be working hard to provide the best care to the wonderful families in the state of Mississippi. He is incredibly excited to work with families and children to see them grow and thrive into adulthood.
