UMMC ramping up scheduled appointments, procedures for shared patients at all facilities
- With careful planning and appropriate safety measures UMMC has re-opened its clinics and operating schedules. The COVID-19 safety measures we have instituted in our clinics and hospitals allow health care services to be delivered in a safe and welcoming environment. We appreciate the patience and understanding you and your patients have displayed since we began postponing elective surgeries and non-urgent medical appointments in mid-March. While we were able to offer most patients alternative arrangements, including telehealth appointments when appropriate, and continued to provide timely care for those with critical or urgent health problems, we are pleased to be able to provide care for your patients in all of our clinical settings again.
- Watch brief videos detailing the enhanced safety measures now in place at UMMC and Children’s of Mississippi.
