Office of Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs promotes student success and well-being by providing student-centered programming and services that facilitate the academic, personal and professional growth of all students.

The Office of Student Affairs provides academic support programs and resources, extracurricular events and activities, interprofessional education opportunities and supports the Associated Student Body (ASB). Located in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union, the Office of Student Affairs encourages students' use of campus facilities, including the Fitness Center and Gymnasium, Recreation Area and ASB Suite. The Norman C. Nelson Student Union also houses the UMMC Bookstore and additional lounge and meeting spaces.

Through the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine's P.R.O.M.I.S.E. Program, 32 students from 11 colleges and universities are receiving mentorship, resources and early exposure to medicine that could help turn their dreams of becoming physicians into reality.
