Program: Pediatrics
Year: PGY III
Hometown: Brookhaven, MS
Undergrad School: Mississippi State University
Medical School: University of Mississippi Medical Center
Residency: University of Mississippi Medical Center
Why did you choose UMMC?:
As a native Mississippian, I was drawn to UMMC to be able to give back and help the people in my home state. In addition to receiving excellent training, the people at UMMC really treat each other like family and take care of each other. No where else I would rather be doing my residency!
Career Interest:
Out patient pediatrics (either subspecialty or general) ... haven't decided quite yet!
What makes you unique?:
I once got bitten by a black widow spider the summer before I went to college... but I survived!!
What you like to do in your free time?:
I love hanging with my dog Bentley, playing tennis, reading, traveling (especially to Disney World), and spending time with my family.
