Kahdejah S. Hosten, MD
Program: Pediatrics
Year: PGY I
Hometown: Cordele, GA
Undergrad School: Valdosta State Universitty
Medical School: St. George's University
Internship: UMMC
Residency: UMMC
Why did you choose UMMC?:
The vibes, cost of living, the faculty and residents who I met during interviews
Career Interest:
General pediatrics, pediatric neurology
What makes you unique?:
the small town where I come from and living in other places extremely different to that (Miami, Grenada); my optimistic demeanor
What do you like about the program?:
Everyone here is genuinely nice. The impression that I got during interview season is the same as what I have been experiencing since being here. It is a great environment to feel comfortable while learning; everyone is extremely supportive/encouraging.
