Why did you choose UMMC?:
I grew up in MS and knew I wanted to give back to my home state.
Biography Information:
I am a MS native, and I am proud to be back in state! I am married to my high school sweetheart and mama to a little boy..
Career Interest:
As of right now, I plan to pursue outpatient general pediatrics, but I am keeping an open mind.
Field Interest:
Gen Peds Outpatient
Hobbies:
I enjoy baking for others and spending time outside with my family.
What makes you unique?:
I don’t drink more than 1 cup of coffee’s worth of caffeine in a day…. for now.
What you like to do in your free time?:
I often read or bake during my free time if weather isn’t permitting for my family to find a park or trail to walk.
What do you like about the program?:
When I did my audition rotation, I felt a literal family sense among residents and faculty. I never felt as if I was a bother or asking a dumb question. The program was openly family friendly as well, which played a huge role to me.
