Why did you choose UMMC?:
I wanted a hands on environment, where I could be provided a lot of support.
Biography Information:
I group up in San Mateo, California. I attended Xavier University in New Orleans where I double majored in Biology and Physics and double minored in chemistry and mathematics. After a few years of traveling abroad and working I received my M.S. in molecular biology. And last school year I graduated with my MD and a scholarly concentration in genetics from Indiana University school of medicine.
Career Interest:
I am currently in the pediatric neurology program and look forward to becoming a pediatric epileptologist.
Hobbies:
I love writing. I am an author of 3 children's YA sci-fi books. I am also a world traveler. Every time I have the opportunity to leave the country I take it. I love to experience new places.
What you like to do in your free time?:
I love to take circus classes, write and travel when every I have free time.
What do you like about the program?:
I love the people. Everyone has been great.
