Night call will be done every fourth night during PICU and PCICU months. During Elective months, anesthesiology and research months call will be taken approximately once a week (averaging 4-5 calls a month). One month each year will be entirely without call.
Moonlighting
Moonlighting is allowed with the approval of the program director. Hours moonlighting must be reported and the sum of program requirement and moonlighting hours must not exceed 80 hours/week. Current fellows have opportunities to moonlight in the pediatric emergency room. This availability is based on pediatric emergency department needs.
