Research Experience

• Dr Patrick Bergin currently serves as the Departmental Research Director and has built a research team that is available and ready to facilitate the research requirement of the fellow.
• The fellow must undertake 2 projects during the fellowship year with one abstract submitted to the OTA and a manuscript for publication.
• UMMC has a strong relationship with Major Extremity Trauma Consortium (METRC) and is consistently a strong contributor to the many major multicenter studies they run. This provides a unique opportunity should you be interested in learning more about these trials.
