Current Med-Peds Residents
The following are current internal medicine/pediatrics (med/ped) residents in UMMC School of Medicine's Department of Medicine.
Program: Medicine/Pediatrics
Year: PGY IV
Undergrad School: Indiana University
Medical School: Lincoln Memorial University
Why did you choose UMMC?:
Ultimately it was my second look that sealed the deal for me. The Med Peds residents are an amazing group of people. Everyone here was so welcoming. Mississippi is also number one in everything you don't want to be number one in, so I knew I would have the ability to learn from some of the most complex patients here.
Career Interest:
Academic medicine, Med-Peds Complex Care
What you like to do in your free time?:
Facetiming my nieces and nephews, running, cat naps with my cats, watching the bachelorette/bachelor and schooling my co-residents in bags (or as you all call it in the south "corn hole").
