Welcome to Our Program

Welcome to the internal medicine residency program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center! The Department of Medicine is the largest department on campus, and we are honored to train over 500 medical students and 100 medical residents each year.

Currently, our program has 78 categorical, 5 preliminary, 4 primary care track and 18 medicine-pediatrics residents. UMMC also offers fellowship training programs in all the subspecialties, and our department currently has around 70 fellows this academic year.

We believe the many people who make up this program are our greatest asset. Thank you for visiting our site, and as always, contact us if you have any questions.
