Palliative and Supportive Care Services
Palliative and Supportive Care Services provides in-patient consultation on patients with serious illness. This patient centered and relationship based team provides relief from suffering and helps patients and families make wise decisions and focus on what is important to them.

Education
Residents can spend a month in palliative care as an elective in their training. Palliative lectures are provided to students, residents and health care providers. Speakers are also available to communities, support groups, or organizations interested in palliative care. A one-year fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is available to physicians interested in this area of medicine.
