These procedures include but are not limited to: Skin biopsy (shave, punch, excisional), Nexplanon implantation and removal, joint injections (such as knee and shoulder, carpel tunnel, and trigger finger), Cryotherapy, Colposcopy, Pap, toenail removal.

Special program components

Our program serves as primary physicians for students at Millsaps College, which is close to the UMMC campus. Residents attend to students' needs at the on-site medical clinic. Students from any school requiring more extensive care are seen in our residency clinics.

Additional educational and patient care support

  • Two PharmD faculty

Our program is committed to providing a reasonable workload for all residents - one that allows time with family and for outside hobbies. All schedules abide by the ACGME duty hours.
