Biography Information:
Dr. Salamat Ali is a family medicine resident at UMMC. He grew up in a small village in Punjab, Pakistan, and his journey to medicine has shaped his passion for caring for diverse and underserved communities. His interests include primary care, preventive medicine, patient education, and community health. Outside the hospital, he enjoys creating educational content, cooking, traveling, and connecting with people through storytelling.
Career Interest:
Full-spectrum family medicine, outpatient primary care, preventive medicine, rural health, and community-based care.
Field Interest:
Chronic disease management, preventive care, patient education, procedures.
Hobbies:
Cooking, traveling, content creation, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places.

My journey from a small village in Pakistan to residency in the United States has shaped my resilience, gratitude, and strong commitment to serving diverse communities.
