Why did you choose UMMC?:
I chose UMMC because I liked the atmosphere, the people, and the opportunity I would be provided
Biography Information:
Born in Islamabad, Pakistan. I Moved to Knoxville, Tennessee when I was a year old! GO VOLS! I wanted to be a family physician ever since I was a child. After obtaining my BA in Psychology, I pursued my Masters in Healthcare Administration at WKU. I wanted to know the in's and out's of hospital administration so I can one day transition into that role after practicing medicine. I then attended MUA on St. Kitts & Nevis, challenging yet fruitful experience. I can now say that dreams do come true!
Career Interest:
-Emergency Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Outpatient Medicine
Hobbies:
- Basketball (I play regularly 3x a week, we have an indoor court on campus!), Fantasy Football!!
What makes you unique?:
What makes me unique is that I like bringing people together, not as a community but as a family
What you like to do in your free time?:
Like I said, I love me some basketball! But spending time with my wife is most important to me!
What do you like about the program?:
I love that our program gives me autonomy and gives me the tools to make an excellent physician
