Research Corner

The Dermatology Clinical Trials Unit and Dermatology Research Team are blazing with productivity this year! We have enrolled subjects with bullous pemphigoid and ichthyosis in Argx and Timber trials, respectively. Our research team is actively recruiting interested patients with atopic dermatitis, ichythosis, and bullous pemphigoid. Potential new studies are upcoming in the new year for notalgia paresthetica, hidradenitis, vitiligo, and epidermolysis bullosa.  

In addition, Drs. Thy Huynh and Vinayak “Vinny” Nahar won the 2023 the La Roche-Posay Research Grant Foundation. They were recognized at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting in San Diego, California. This award is for their research, Sunscreen use in Adolescents and Adults: A test of the Multi-Theory Model (MTM) of Health.
