Why you chose anesthesia:
I chose to become an anesthesiologist because of the interplay between pharmacology, physiology, and the implications that these factors have on the patient's condition during surgery. Further, I enjoy the gratification of a successful and safe, physician-led anesthetic case that encompasses safety, efficacy of anesthesia, and amelioration of the patient's pain.
