Ophthalmology - Lakeland Medical Building

The Department of Ophthalmology's subspecialty clinic at 764 Lakeland Drive supports comprehensive, subspecialty eye care all under one roof. Located across Lakeland Drive from the UMMC main campus, the facility offers care for diseases of the retina and the cornea, glaucoma, ocular plastic surgery, neuro-ophthalmology and comprehensive ophthalmology. The clinic offers the latest in ophthalmic imaging and testing, many ophthalmic laser and minor surgeries, and screenings for laser vision correction surgery. A pediatric ophthalmologist is located on the first floor of the building in a separate clinic that provides a comfortable and child-friendly space.

Family medicine physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners, and support staff see patients for preventative care and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. To better serve the community, appointments are preferred ahead of time, but walk-ins and same-day appointments are welcome. Lakeland Family Medicine has earned national recognition for providing patient-centered care.
