Introducing the HR Training and Development Catalog: Your Path to Growth

Published on Monday, March 17, 2025

At UMMC, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the HR Training and Development Catalog—a comprehensive resource designed to support employees and leaders in enhancing their skills and advancing their careers.

The catalog features a diverse selection of courses tailored to meet various workforce needs, including new employee orientation, skills enhancement, professionalism, well-being, customer service and leadership development. Each course is carefully curated to provide valuable insights and practical skills, with details on enrollment, delivery methods, course overviews and duration to help participants find the right fit for their learning journey.

Our new lineup of courses launches in April and runs through June. The following learning opportunities are available now: Generational Differences in the Workforce, Leadership Without The Title, Documenting Employment Practices, Bridging the Gap: Practical Approaches to Conflict Management and The Art of Communication: Tone and Text. Additional courses from the catalog will be offered at a later date. These sessions are designed to equip employees with the tools they need to thrive in their roles and contribute to our shared success.

This is just the beginning. The HR Training and Development Catalog will continue to expand, with new courses and learning opportunities added regularly. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to employee growth, engagement and UMMC’s Core Values—empowering us all to support A Healthier Mississippi.

Stay tuned for more course updates, and don’t miss out on these valuable learning experiences!
