Work-In-Progress Meetings

The main goal of the COBRE-MCCTR "Work-In-Progress" meetings is to help investigators advance their research programs and prepare for submission of extramural grant applicaitons.

These meeting focus on new research ideas, specific aims of investigators’ projects, updates of research progress, and new research methods/technologies. Meetings are held monthly and generally feature two short presentations (15 minutes each) by clinical and translational researchers as well as basic scientists, following by substantial discussions aimed at critiquing and advancing the research projects.

All members of the MCCTR and COBRE as well as any other investigators who are interested in the discussion topics are invited. Members of the Internal and External Advisory Boards are also invited to join the discussions which will be video conferenced.
