Members of the Internal Steering Committee are chosen for their expertise in mentoring, their leadership at UMMC and for their scientific expertise. They are leaders of major research units at UMMC and help to develop strong liaisons between the Center and other key research units.
Erin Taylor, PhD, is the Director of the Omics, Bioinformatics, and Flow Cytometry Core and Assistant Professor of Physiology & Biophysics at UMMC.
Joey Granger, PhD, is the former Dean of the School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences, Director of the Mississippi Center for Clinical and Translational Research (MCCTR), and a Professor of Physiology in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at UMMC.
James Rowlett, PhD is the Co-Director of the Center for Innovation and Discovery in Addictions and Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at UMMC.
