Biography: Dr. Erin Jackson is originally Canadian. She attended the University of Western in London Ontario for undergraduate studies and graduated from Saba University School of Medicine in 2014. She completed Pediatric Residency in 2017 from Mercer University in Savannah Georgia and Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship from UMMC in 2020. She has stayed on as faculty at UMMC and is the Director of the Pediatric Hematology program. She has a special interest in Sickle Cell disease and focuses on clinical and translational research in this field.
When not at work, Dr. Jackson is busy with her her husband and 3 girls. She enjoys travelling abroad with her young family and introducing them to new cultures and experiences.
