Office of Enrollment Management

The Office of Enrollment Management will provide the highest quality of administrative service related to the admission, registration and graduation of a diverse and inclusive student population for the University of Mississippi Medical Center and its six schools. The office will apply continuous quality improvement to ensure that state-of-the-art technologies and enrollment management models deliver excellent service to all stakeholders in their individual and collective missions and vision to train committed health care professionals and researchers for the state of Mississippi.

Academic records and documents that pertain to the progress of matriculated students and post-graduate trainees will be maintained throughout trainees’ professional careers into perpetuity following best practices established by the professional organizations, AACRAO and SACRAO. The office is committed to fruitful collaboration with all appropriate parties to provide accurate statistical reporting of admissions, enrollment and graduation.

The Office of Enrollment Management functions as both the admissions office and the registrar’s office for the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Health Related Professions, the School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences and the John D. Bower School of Population Health.

In the admissions role, this office is most often the first point of contact for individuals interested in pursuing a career in health care. Admissions counselors process all applications for admission and work closely with each school/program to facilitate the admissions process. The registrar maintains the permanent records relative to the academic progress of all matriculated students.
