The Southeastern Conference (SEC) Faculty Achievement Awards

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) Faculty Achievement Awards recognize faculty from SEC member universities with outstanding records in research and scholarship. The awards program was established in 2012 by the Conference's presidents and chancellors and celebrates success in teaching, research, and service.

There is one awardee per university, one of which is chosen as the SEC Professor of the Year, voted on by the universities' provosts. All receive an honorarium and memento from the SEC. The SEC Professor of the Year is honored during the annual SEC Awards Dinner.
