Biography

Mark D. Anderson, MD is an associate professor in the department of Neurology at the University of Mississippi medical center. He is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and certified in Neuro-Oncology by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties. His research and clinical interests are in the treatment of central nervous system tumors and complications related to cancer and serves on committees for the UMC cancer center and research institute. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham and completed residency training in Neurology at Vanderbilt University. A fellowship in Neuro-Oncology was completed at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Tx.
